It's a quiet out of-the-way village, but there is a Village Committee and many events are organised throughout the year. Coffee mornings, quizzes, treasure hunts, dances, a Village Fete, Barn Dances, Harvest Suppers, bazaars, Easter Egg hunt, Garden Parties, Cheese and Wine evenings, Safari Suppers, barbecues, children's parties, pantomime trips and the piece de resistance of the year ... a traditional Christmas Dinner for the over 60s in the village. For the past few years home made entertainment has been provided. On a few occasions this has been a pantomime featuring the committee and friends.
